The Francis X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions is a state-of-the-art academic building located at 200 Bloomfield Avenue in West Hartford, Connecticut. Named in honor of alumnus Francis “Frank” Hursey and his wife, Nancy, this 60,000-square-foot facility is set to open in fall 2021. The Hursey Center will house specialized and technology-rich facilities for programs in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture, as well as the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions. Frank Hursey, a pioneer in pressure swing adsorption oxygen technology and founder of Z-Medica, has dedicated his life to advancing engineering and healthcare.
