"Definatly not a price chop! What cost me $120-130 at Stop & Shop is costing me $190-202 here! Half the items are not stocked or what's there is moldy! On top of that casheers will ignore you at check out to scroll on their phones. Will not be returning!"
"I am writing to thank April and Paul in the bakery department for all their help and hard work on December 31, 2023. I had placed and paid for an order approximately 2 weeks prior for 2 large trays of breakfast items for New Years Day. My plan was to just run in and pick the trays up. For whatever reason the order was never filled. April and Paul went to work immediately, as busy as they were, to fill the order very quickly for me. I appreciated they were able to do this since I was on a tight schedule with little time to spare. You both made it work. Again, thank you for all your help. Janet P"
"We've recently moved to Connecticut and were looking for a supermarket that was affordable and had a large selection. Price Chopper Newington has been the closet thing to the large supermarket we're used to. The selection was amazing, the prices very affordable. The best meat and vegetable selection I've seen in Connecticut. The meat was very high quality and the best pricing in Hartford County."
"Price Chopper certainly isn't my favorite supermarket but it is the most convenient so I'm here often. For the most part, pricing is okay and starting to see an improvement in stocking levels. The quality of the help here has always been an issue. No comparison to a Stew Leonard's or even Big Y. Cashiers in particular need some leadership and training. A cashier should not be focused on when their shift ends or reading their text messages."
"This store's décor is incredibly dated and the store itself is very run down. It was clear that one of the refrigeration units was not working properly and their floors in many of the aisles were unbelievably dirty. This store is desperately in need of a face lift and renovations."
