Danbury Grassroots Academy, located at 196 Main Street in Danbury, Connecticut, is a unique institution that focuses on education, character development, tennis, and health. Our primary goals include emphasizing the importance of education, teaching honorable character traits, providing tennis instruction, and promoting the value of nutrition and exercise. Our specific objectives are to improve academic performance, reading levels, high school graduation rates, and to help students establish career paths or pursue higher education. Since 2006, DGA has been serving 60 selected students, ages 8-22, in a free year-round program. Our dedicated staff members serve as positive role models and work collaboratively with parents, students, and the community to help students reach their full potential. Through mentoring, promoting healthy lifestyles, and building self-esteem, we aim to empower students to make educated choices in all areas of their lives.
