No one was responsive, and they had weird clauses in the lease like not being able to say negative things about the company. They then backed out of including any utilities in the rent. Never have I backed out of a lease so fast."

"If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. My car was broken into along with FOUR others cars early Wednesday (8/3/22) morning (window smashed) ALL VEHICLES WERE LOCKED! The management waited until 4:49pm too notify the residents of this incident. In the email it was NEVER MENTIONED THAT THESE CARS WERE BROKEN INTO! It simply stated that due to recent events that have come to their attention residents should secure their vehicles & not leave valuables in their cars. Again ALL OF THESE VEHICLES WERE LOCKED! How much more secure could these vehicles have been?! There’s NO LIGHTS/CAMERAS IN THE AREAS OF THESE BREAK INS, yet there’s a sign by the dumpster that says “no dumping cameras in use”. I had also had over $1,000 in packages stolen from a LOCKED PACKAGE ROOM! I was told that cameras would be installed. We were told by the Assistant Manager in the office that the cameras were being mailed. My mom then spoke to the Regional Manager of CT who said that they had NO PLANS TO INSTALL CAMERAS IN THE PACKAGE ROOM. The rent is $1,966 a month- however your car, nor your packages are safe?! With no lights outside, you yourself are not safe either! Residents who have lived here for years reported a mugging of a woman a few years ago walking into her apartment (Due too NO LIGHTING), a car stolen & several vehicles tires were slashed. The Regional Manager told me that the WEST HARTFORD PD has no records of these events? Interesting when I went down there myself all of these came up. Keep in mind these apartments were recently sold and Eagle Rock Management took over. The Management Team is rude and tells you to call the Police instead of doing their job! They were previously called Westgate Apartments. So don’t be fooled when asking the WHPD about crime reports- be sure too mention Westgate as well. Please do your research & stay safe! Also, the apartment units are the worst, the walls are paper thin. So you hear your neighbors all the time! From walking heavy, LOUD BASS MUSIC, people slamming there apartment doors, as well as people running up and down the hallways. Neighbors I had were very disrespectful. I am so happy I moved outta there, BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!"
