Alterra Rocky Hill Apartments

"I wanted to like this apartment complex as it was the perfect area for what we were looking for, but unfortunately things just kept “piling” up. The constant smell of people smoking ( in a smoke free community). Extremely loud neighbors. People in the building letting their pets pee all through the hall and not cleaning it, led to terrible smells and overall unsanitary conditions. Additionally, a large amount of theft in the complex. My car was broken into with items stolen, days later an entire car was stolen. Prior to these two events there were many others, they hired “security” to patrol during specified hours for a short while. But that stopped quickly. They had no issues installing cameras in our building to assess whose pet was urinating as it was costing them money to clean and repair the carpets. But no cameras in parking for the overall safety of the residents in the community. A neighbor above us was also in shock by all of these hinges going on after staying there for a few years so moved out as well. Was very disappointed since when we rented we were initially very excited and saw all the great reviews but simply this was not our case which led us to decide to leave."

"Alterra has become my new home! Having never rented before, I was uncertain as to what to expect from a rental facility. The staff that i have worked with here , Rachel, Megan , Ivan and Enrique, have been incredible in welcoming me, along with accommodating anything I needed assistance with! From the start, which began with a tour then the paperwork, coupled with the many clarifying questions I had about moving in , both Rachel and Megan were knowledgeable , caring and if I may say Rockstar Informants! The office is staffed from 10 -6 consistently , and the charismatic demeanor of the team is beyond a 5 star! Thank you Alterra staff for being a part of my journey...and providing me with a beautiful "home" !"

"As a resident of Alterra Rocky Hill Apartments for nearly six years I have to say that it has been generally, a wonderful overall experience. There have been some “ups and downs,” with management changes, which fortunately, the last two - three years had been resolved. The two ladies we had running the office left recently, and with them, we lost the wonderful little “lending library” they had put in our clubhouse. We had been enjoying this amazing FREE amenity, and it's now gone. Many of us would stop by the coffee bar, peruse the books, take one and drop off other books. It was such an amazing “perk” – especially since most of us don’t have time to go to a library, nor the wish to purchase books all the time. Many residents are complaining but those complaints are falling on deaf ears. I'm hoping that the “powers that be” will stop this RIDICULOUS purge and return our little library. Believe it or not, in this internet age some of us STILL LIKE TO READ BOOKS."

"We just moved to Alterra in November and love the property!(especially that it is pet friendly!!) From the application to move in day, the office staff has been so great to work with. The apartment is clean and spacious! We can not wait for warmer weather to hang by the pool and fire pit! The maintenance helped immediately when needed! This is a great community to live in!"

"Amazing property! I came to tour here and am hoping to be able to live here when my lease is up. The grounds were beautiful, the apartments were so nice and looked very luxury. The office staff is amazing and made my tour experience so great. They explained everything really well and made me feel really comfortable (they wore masks which I appreciated). These apartments are beautiful, the staff is great, and they are pet friendly which was a little bit of a challenge to find. I can't wait to be a resident at Alterra!"
