Cossitt, the library has been a cornerstone of knowledge and culture for over a century. Originally housing a collection of 1,300 books, the library was expertly organized by George Seymour Goddard, a Wesleyan University graduate, who later became Connecticut's third State Librarian. Today, the Cossitt Library is an integral part of the Granby Library System, offering modern amenities such as WiFi, an online catalog, and a dedicated children's department on the lower level.
