Eagleville Preserve
Eagleville Preserve is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 479 South Eagleville Road in Mansfield, Connecticut, United States. The preserve consists of three sections on either side of Rt. 275. The northern section includes a parking lot, Eagleville Dam, and a recreation area where visitors can often see blue herons fishing. The southern section, across Rt. 275, starts off in state land and features a trail that passes by the site of the old Eagleville Mill. Visitors can choose to head right towards the Willimantic River and enjoy a view of the dam falls, or head left to explore the Les Mehrhoff Invasive Plant Walk. This section of the trail showcases common invasive species with informative signboards along the way.
