"I highly recommend Tru Value in East Lyme! They stand by the products they sell, and provide added value. I purchased a new Ariens snow blower from them, a year ago, never used it. I tested it out this year, and the drive mechanism was not working correctly. They fixed it right away, drove up, picked up the snowblower, brought it back to their shop, fixed it, and brought it back to my place; well before an incoming storm, even though the issue was Ariens, and not theirs!! They are there for the customer, for me, and I will always do business with them."

"I cannot recommend this place at all for kitchen cabinets. I made an appointment and arrived when the rep was on vacation. Rescheduled only to be told I didn’t take the right measurements when I did. I will be bringing my measurements to another cabinet store."
"3.5*s. I do like this store. It is different than going into a huge place like Lowe's, and bigger than a little place. They do have some deals and nice selections of a # of products. And, they have a great location. What I don't like is that overall their prices are higher than most big places, however they are good about exchanges on at least certain defective items. Plus, it would be nice if they'd go green w/a recycle bin, solar panels, etc."
