The Mattatuck Trailhead at Valley Rd is a park located at 83 Valley Road in Warren, Connecticut, United States. This 42-mile trail passes through the towns of Wolcott, Plymouth, Thomaston, Watertown, Morris, Litchfield, Warren, and Cornwall. The trail is open for hiking only and is a partnership between various organizations including the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, The Litchfield Land Trust, White Memorial Conservation Center, The Nature Conservancy, Warren Land Trust, and the City of Waterbury. The trail features a variety of landscapes including woodlands, ponds, streams, waterfalls, caves, and mountain peaks. It offers breathtaking views of the Waterbury Reservoirs and passes through the White Memorial Conservation Center, a 4,000-acre wildlife sanctuary. In Warren, the trail enters the Wyantenock State Forest and continues through the Shepaug Reservoir land and Warren Land Trust open space property.
