MonkeySports Superstore - Greenwood Village

"This is our preferred hockey store in the area. We live pretty close by and feel lucky to have the convenience and quality of their products. We’ve been coming to this location for over three years, we now have a kiddo on a 10U travel team. We use skate sharpening, (they have a skate sharpening card), they’ve given us endless advice and recommendations on equipment and skate sharpening, and other things related to a hockey season. What I’ve always really appreciated is the fact that when we walk in, there’s always somebody who is genuinely interested in helping us or getting us to the right area, even when I know there’s other customers in the store. I think their pricing is pretty good, I’m one of those comparison shoppers on the other hockey websites and Amazon for anything over $50 or when buying those stupid expensive socks. They seem to be well stocked, unless you need some pink laces deeper into October lol."

"The management and expertise at this location is top notch. We live in New Mexico and get our equipment here when we visit Denver on occasion. We had a hockey bag break during the warranty period, and Tim Horsch helped us out and helped us get the warranty going from New Mexico. Top notch service. We will forever get our hockey gear here due to the customer service. The prices and selections are great too."

"Walked in today (Wed.), to buy new hockey skates a bit after 11:45 am as the only customer in the store. I received no attention upon entering, from at least 4 employees near the entry door, so I found hockey skates and looked at the pretty good selection for 12 minutes. I stopped counting employees at 8 with almost all of them standing behind counters talking to other employees. After checking the robust selection, I walked out - again without notice or attention from a single employee. I went elsewhere and purchased skates. Since the employee's responsibility in retail is to recognize when customers are in the store and try to accomodate purchases, they failed completely. I gave 2 stars because the store seemed well-stocked. Hopefully corporate reads reviews. I owned retail stores for 20 years and the employees in this store are either not being trained how to take care of customers - or they're simply not doing their job. Most of the criticisms I've read herein are almost exactly what I experienced, and yet nothing has changed. Any time I had a complaint about customer service, I checked the store video surveillance to see if the complaint had any merit. The management of this store should try it sometime and apply corrective training to their employees. Unless, of course, they just don't care."

"My son and I are new to hockey and really loving it! I came to the store for the first time on Saturday and was helped by a wonderful kid named Pearce! He was knowledgeable and very sweet! He helped us picking out a new stick. We had an all day tournament today and the coaches wanted my son to stand up more straight with his stick and wanted him to try a bigger one. So we traveled back down to the store and I explained to Tim. Not only was he amazing, accommodating him and Colt made sure we left with another stick. The staff at this location are fantastic and definitely know what they are talking about. I appreciate the guidance and encouragement they showed us! These guys and location is the place to go!"

"Super helpful staff. I came in yesterday for lacrosse balls and targets. I was helped by Tim who was very knowledgeable. Although they did not have the targets in stock, he ordered them for me and should be delivered in a couple of days. Very pleased with the service!"
