"I am unable to give 0 stars for phone call conversation. They were requiring CC info to be given over the phone which made me feel uncomfortable. I understand that it is their policy to ask for financial info over the phone before they provide ANY kind of service. It is also their right to refuse service to any customer (not because of inability to pay or not showing for appt), but simply for not being willing to give CC info over the phone. Once we have laws holding companies accountable for breaching their databases (including hair salons), consumers will be protected and more willing to give sensitive info over the phone."

"HOT UPDATE: More detailed update to come, but basically the owner reached out with some 5 Star customer service to help get this cut in-line without making it shorter. Still not what I wanted (because you can undo what is cut off!), but it is so much better and I'm very appreciative! ----------- I debated posting this for several weeks, but I've decided to share because this cut has wrecked my confidence. For context, this was done, I believe, by a level-4 (of 5 levels) stylist. Maybe it's quality work and I'm ignorant, but I don't feel like this is what I'd agreed upon with my stylist. We took off a ton of length - that I had wanted. But I'd asked for long layers and some texture on the ends because I don't like a super straight edge look. I like to let my hair air-dry and occasionally straighten it. During the cut, I was uncomfortable with how much the stylist was using the texture scissors and asked to stop saying I thought we had enough texture but she assured me it wouldn't change the length and kept going. While it might not have changed the length, it certainly took away from the volume at the end making it appear shorter. On top of that, the layers are so short and weird that now, on a daily basis, I have to pull it back into weird little pony tails just to get it out of my face and to hide the layers. I'm incredibly embarrassed of this cut. Luckily it's hair and that grows back. Once I have enough to work with, I'll be going somewhere else to get this sorted out. I'm particularly disappointed because if seen another stylist for a while who had done great work cutting and coloring my hair. Unfortunately, she left the salon and this was my second negative experience in a row following her departure. I really, really want to love this salon because of it's convenient location and my original stylist. However, I don't think I'll be able to go back at this point in time."
