Cottage Park, located at 110 South Cody Street in Lakewood, Colorado, is a charming park with a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features a picnic shelter and open space for play, as well as a playground with 20 different play features for children to explore. Additionally, visitors can admire a public art installation and walk through a unique sandstone labyrinth on the premises. The park's history dates back to its former days as the Meadowlark Cottages, which were acquired by the city from the Jefferson County School District in 2000. The site, which spans .7 acres, was home to two buildings that were originally built in the 1960s as elementary classrooms. These buildings were used for early childhood programs until 2008, when they were closed due to structural issues.
