The Labriola Innovation Hub, located at 1312 Maple Street in Golden, Colorado, is a cutting-edge makerspace within the university. It serves as a space for students to bring their ideas to life through creating, prototyping, testing, and iterating. This hub is part of the larger Labriola Innovation Complex, which includes classroom facilities and work bays for student projects. Named in honor of Frank and Mary Labriola, the complex is filled with machines, tools, and materials for students to utilize in their creative endeavors. The InnoHub features various specialized shops, including a Metal Shop, Wood Shop, Capstone and Cornerstone, Tool Crib, Composites & Paint Shop, Electronics Shop, and more. It also includes collaboration spaces and conference rooms for students to work together and build a strong community. The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem at Mines provides students with the resources and support to develop their innovative ideas and explore the commercialization of science and technology solutions.
