"I financed a motorcycle through a dealer that uses Columbine Federal. Columbine makes it incredibly difficult to payoff your loan - you can't do it online if the balance is over $3,000 and they charge you fees to do a wire transfer. The only way is to waste time and drive to their branch to pay it off in person."

"I really wanted my banking to be through a credit union. I chose Columbine because I have my car loan through them, but my experience hasn’t been good and I will be cancelling my checking account. My check doesn’t go into my account until like 10am on my payday, deposits take longer than they should, and if you try calling on a Saturday it says their office is closed when it clearly says online they are open."

"Fix your phone system it's not possible to pay for things if you A don't answer the phones and B if your voice-mail leaves you listening to the same message to press 5 so you can listen to the same message to press 5 to listen to the same message to press 5 to listen to the same message to press 5 this will go on forever fix your voicemail"

"This place is awful. I was extremely clear that i live out of state from the beginning but am FROM Colorado and wanted to use columbine because I knew someone who worked there. I went through the whole entire loan application (including the hard inquiries) only to find out at the end that they can’t do out of state loans. They ran my credit as well as my moms for nothing. The service I received after this was horrible and they took zero accountability for their mistake. Not even an apology. I would steer clear of this place if at all possible. I understand they are low staffed and probably busy, but that doesn’t excuse making extremely obvious mistakes with no remorse."

"They’re bad, but not the worst. Their app doesn’t work. If you’re ahead of your payments, they’ll just stop sending you statements (can be a good thing). They will never answer their phone, if you have a question about the app, they wont pick up the phone. If you need to make a payment on the loan, they wont pick up. You can leave messages and they wont respond. The only good thing I can say about this credit Union is that their shared branch payment is pretty good. It’s convenient to make payments through other credit unions, with the exception, you can’t pay off your loan. You have to contact columbine to make the last payment"
