"I would highly recommend Sunrise to any family who is looking for great care for their loved one. Sunrise is a small environment with a big loving heart for caring for your loved one. We chose Sunrise for my 91 year old father. He was in a hospice situation; the care takers there cared for him in a very loving gentle way. We left there every night knowing he was in good hands and checked on frequently. They treated him as one of their own loved ones. The administration team is also very kind and loving. They put together all their resources to get my father in there as quickly as they could to give him a comfortable loving place for the last days of his life. We were so please with Sunrise - it was always clean, all the staff was gentle and caring. We watched other people who were in the home and they too were cared for in a very professional, loving way. I will definitely go back to them if the need is there in our family again. If you are in this situation of finding a good place for your loved one please visit Sunrise. "I have worked alongside the team at Sunrise at University Park for several years, collaborating to provide hospice services for residents and their families. The team at Sunrise places a strong emphasis on making their residents feel valued, from organizing a wide range of engaging social activities to providing attentive and personalized resident care. At Sunrise, there are a wide range of activities to promote an engaging social environment for their residents. We recently hosted an event to recognize their Veterans and regularly collaborate with the Sunrise team to throw birthday celebrations for our mutual clients. The environment at Sunrise is clean and the staff are always helpful and welcoming. I typically find residents hanging out in the foyer visiting by the fireplace and consistently find staff engaging with them. I enjoy collaborating with the team at Sunrise to provide exceptional care to their residents."

"Our grandma was a resident at Sunrise for a couple of years. I know that every day she felt taken care of, comfortable, and loved. As her family, we always felt welcomed by the staff when we went to visit her, and we felt heard by them when we had conversations or concerns. They had many events at the facility, they decorate for holidays, and they just try to provide a great atmosphere for their residents. There were many conversations about her care as she became less and less able to get around. In all of the conversations we were reassured she could stay in her room until the end. There was no moving around, no confusion, and all love. We are so thankful that we chose Sunrise for our grandma to live out her final years. The staff is amazing and grandma was at peace from the moment she got there. Thank you!!!"
