“This was my first experience working with a designer other than previously staging a home for sale and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to meet Chris Campbell. We first met on the phone and connected right away. I shared my desire to fully furnish and decorate my new place. We met the next weekend, and I had an even better experience with her in person! Chris helped my daughter and myself pick out beautiful furniture, lamps, artwork and other decorations that we truly love. She has a keen eye and impeccable taste. She listens and shows several options. We have had different ideas and she has been both honest and tactful. She is also just so much fun! I love working with her and have been in several times to work with her since the initial consult. She is a wonderful designer with a huge heart! We have so much fun with her. In addition, the manager, David has amazing taste, and his store is managed just as beautifully as it is decorated. He is always a pleasure to work with and has ensured the orders I have placed with Bassett have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this store, and Chris, for your next project!”

“I swear to you, one of my best friends has a secret love affair with this place and I never understood why until now. The quality for the prices and the dynamic staff are an experience. Not to mention, its a legit department store and in our instant gratification world, it's rare to walk 3 levels of the same freaking place. We went to the men's section because he is a he and also men's clothes are just better, generally. I found an outstanding blazer on massive sale, a ridiculous shirt (which I definitely bought) and some obnoxiously bright pants to complement my new shirt. I've always wanted a blazer and he found multiple items that he makes look fabulous. Yes, they are q little more expensive but if you're willing to shop the rack and go with a dear friend, it's great fun. There were two employees that were polar opposite which only made it more entertaining because one lady was the most stern woman I've ever seen and the other girl thought I was hilarious. It seemed like her first job and she handled customer complaints beautifully, even though we stood in line forever behind the angry customer but she left happy, and so did we!”

“After reading the nice reviews for this place, I decided to give them a try. They are great! The lady at the front desk is very nice. My husband said his suits felt better than when they were new! It was about $13 or $15 for a two piece suit. They do not call when things are ready, but you can depend on them to have things done in about two days. They don't send anything out -- it's all done in house. I've taken in four suits and one silk dress -- all of them came back in great condition, cleaned and pressed.”
