Originally founded in 1996, the rink was purchased by the Koos family and opened in 2006 on a 4-acre property with stunning views of the Colorado National Monument. After being closed and reopened multiple times, the rink sadly closed in March 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, in October 2021, a private owner reopened the facility to the public after extensive remodeling. The new owners and management team are dedicated to providing a source of family-friendly entertainment and accommodating the growing interest in ice sports in the Grand Valley community.
