"This is really a great park and I love the recreation center. My main complaints are I wish they were open longer and wish that in the weekends the hours were longer and that it's annoying that it's so small . Especially the weight/ cardio room. That room I really wish was significantly bigger than it is"
"Edit, 7/27/23; my only wish is that they would get just one spinning bike. I know I'd be the only person to use it so that's a very selfish wish! This is my local rec center. Lots of parking in the middle of a big park. Small gym but rarely busy. All the machines you need. Great outdoor pool, a couple of pool tables in good condition. Foosball for the youngsters. A great rec center."

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were top-notch. The fitness equipment was all brand new and very well-maintained, making my workout both enjoyable and effective. The pool was crystal clear and inviting, and the locker rooms were clean and well-stocked with amenities. In addition to the great facilities, Cook Park Recreational Center offers a wide range of classes and programs that cater to all interests and skill levels. I particularly enjoyed the yoga class, which was taught by a knowledgeable and encouraging instructor who made the practice accessible to everyone. "This recreational Public park is fantastic for over night parking ventures. There’s never much activity at night. Even when there are others parked, everyone seems to mind their own and it is quite peaceful."
"Nice park! We had our church community picnic here and it was a great location. Lots of space, playground, creek, etc. Shelter tables are not in good shape and grills are tiny, but still useable. Small little baseball diamond that was good for t-ball with the kids."
