After making the switch to emler just a few months ago I have seen DRASTIC changes in both of them. We went to great wolf lodge and they were cruising around and feeling confident without us having to be touching them constantly"

"I put my ten year old through Donna's Dolphins when she was five. She flew through their program, went on to stroke clinics, and became a competitive swimmer. I am now taking my three year old that sinks like a rock in the water and scares us so much that we make her wear a life jacket when even playing on the sand or dirt by the water. With only two private lessons, she's already launching herself off the wall and swimming/floating. I highly recommend all children go through their dolphin program private lessons. Update: A few months in and still loving it! We went to a water park/pool this past weekend and I was confident she could handle herself with her new skills."

"We've done semi private swim lessons at Donna's dolphins for our girls off and on for the last 7 months. Off and on not by choice, though. They started off great but we've had to enroll our daughters in lessons elsewhere because they keep cancelling lessons on us, last minute, mostly because they keep losing instructors with no notice (I can only wonder what's going on to cause instructors to keep quitting suddenly). Consistency is very important with learning to swim and needing to go twice as long between lessons due to the business consistently cancelling lessons does not work. They have a "strict no refund policy" so even though it's because of their inability to maintain lessons during the times we have scheduled, they refuse to offer us even a partial refund. Until they can maintain their staffing, I would not recommend them at all. Edited to update: shortly after posting this review, the owners changed their mind and offered us a half refund for our remaining swim lessons and converted the rest to credit for their store & open swim. I think this is a reasonable compromise and I appreciate it (so I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars), but I still can't recommend them until they can maintain their staffing to keep their scheduled appointments."
