Mountain Lion Tang Soo DO
Mountain Lion Tang Soo Do is a health institution located at 18041 Goldenwest Street in Huntington Beach, California, United States. In-person classes are held at the Senior Center in Central Park on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The institution is dedicated to training individuals who aspire to be black belts in the ancient Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do. The goal of Tang Soo Do is not to promote violence, but rather to provide a way of thinking and acting that guides and teaches individuals to lead happier, healthier, and wiser lives. Prominent students of Tang Soo Do include Chuck Norris, Michael Jai White, and Cynthia Rothrock. Members of Mountain Lion Tang Soo Do range in age from 4 years old to the high 80s, with skill levels ranging from white belt beginners to 4th degree black belt masters. The institution offers family classes as well as longer, higher intensity adult classes, with members frequently placing at regional and international tournaments. Certified by the World Tang Soo Do Association, the instructors at Mountain Lion Tang Soo Do provide a safe and comfortable training environment. The goal of Tang Soo Do is to achieve victory without combat, harmony in nature, and knowledge of mind, body, and spirit.
