The Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) is a legal institution located at 125 Hyde Street in San Francisco, California. We provide legal and social services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with a focus on those with mental health disabilities. Our services include federal disability benefit advocacy, eviction defense, SSI advocacy, immigration documentation, and social service assistance. Additionally, we collaborate with ShelterTech to provide the SF Service Guide, an online directory of human services in San Francisco, to help individuals find the services they need.
