This institution is a colorful part of Sacramento history, showcasing the commercial application of electricity in the late 19th century. Visitors can explore the vintage generators, control switchboard, and massive General Electric transformers that once powered the city of Sacramento. The park offers a glimpse into the past with its forebays and canal system that brought water from the dam to generate electricity.
