Unfortunately, our Davis office has closed as of December 1st, but we will continue to serve out of our West Sacramento location. Dr. Steven Tarver received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis in 1997 and his DVM degree in 2002. He completed a one-year internship at VCA SVRC with rotations in emergency, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and ophthalmology. Dr. Tarver joined the veterinary team in 2003 as an emergency/urgent care veterinarian and currently splits his time between emergency medicine and critical care.

She pursued her dream by earning a degree in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, followed by graduating from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Dr. Gamble's extensive career has taken her through various roles, including working in emergency clinics, animal hospitals in the Long Beach and South Bay area, and even the Long Beach Animal Shelter, where she cared for sick and injured homeless pets. Her experience extends to treating marine mammals at Marineland and exotic animals at the Sacramento Zoo.
