This Mediterranean-style building was equipped with nurse call buttons in patient rooms, making it a state-of-the-art facility at the time. Though it ceased hospital operations in 1989, Wheeler Manor has been converted into affordable housing for seniors. In addition to the original building, Wheeler Manor also features a newer senior housing complex known as Building B, which was added in 1993.
