F. McLintocks Saloon
F. McLintocks Saloon, located at 133 Bridge Street in Arroyo Grande, California, is a renowned institution specializing in Vaquero-style cooking since 1973. The saloon offers a true Western atmosphere and serves ranch-style goodness with authentic Western hospitality. The Vaqueros, California cowboys of Mexican origin, inspired the grilling of meats and cooking over burning hardwoods, particularly Coast Live Oak. At F. McLintocks, steaks, ribs, seafood, and local vegetables are prepared on a hot oak pit, continuing the Vaquero tradition. The steaks are aged in-house for a minimum of 60 days, and the saloon offers a great selection of local wines for a true Central Coast of California experience. While reservations are no longer required, they are accepted for those who want to ensure a table at this iconic establishment.
