Sensei Bunasawa, a former all Japan weight limit judo champion and U.S. world team coach, brings over 45 years of teaching experience to our institution. As a Kodokan judo 9th-dan, he is the youngest grandmaster in California and has trained under esteemed masters such as Yoshimi Osawa, Masahiko Kimura, and Kenji Tomiki.
