The large, rustic group camps provide the perfect backdrop for weddings, retreats, and other special events. Operated by a nonprofit organization, the Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association relies on donations to ensure future generations can enjoy the Woodlands experience. Situated within traditional Pomo territory, the Woodlands is a year-round facility and environmental education center set in the Redwood Forest near Mendocino. With 3 private group cabin camping areas, well-equipped kitchens, dining halls, and amenities, the Woodlands offers a unique camping experience. Trails for hiking and mountain biking are open to the public. Built in the 1930s as part of President Roosevelt's New Deal Projects, the Woodlands is one of only 46 Recreation Demonstration Areas in the US, and the only one in California and a Redwood forest. It has served its original purpose of group camping and outdoor education uninterrupted since opening in 1938. Willits Elementary Charter School is a free public K-5 education institution located at 405 East Commercial Street in Willits, California. Our dedicated faculty members are passionate about teaching and hold advanced degrees in their respective fields. Nuestra Alianza De Willits is a grassroots nonprofit organization located at 291 School Street in Willits, California. Our team of regulars and part-time volunteers are dedicated to making our community a healthier place to live. With sixteen members on the board of directors, we serve the Latino population in Willits and surrounding areas, as well as any community members who wish to join us. Our organization was founded in 2000 during an English as a second language class at Mendocino College, where students expressed a desire for more programs and services in the community. Determined to make a difference, the teacher and students decided to create Nuestra Alianza De Willits to provide these services themselves.

Body Works Gym is a health and fitness institution located at 1511 South Main Street in Willits, California. We are committed to helping you achieve your health goals and keeping it real in 2024. Our gym offers a variety of classes, including a lower back and body sculpt class from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., SAL Karate for beginners and advanced students from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., and advanced training sessions from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. We also offer an invitation-only SAL Karate class from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. Our gym is proud to host the Mendocino County Sheriff's Youth Activities League (SAL), which provides fun activities and sports for kids in the area.
