As one of the earliest branches of the County of Los Angeles Public Library, our roots trace back to December 26, 1913. Today, we proudly serve the Lawndale community in a modern facility that opened on March 18, 2009, featuring the stunning glass artwork "Subdivisions" by Anne Marie Karlsen.
