The Sonoma School of Martial Arts
The Sonoma School of Martial Arts, also known as Hwa Rang Kwan, is a traditional martial arts school located at 1247 Broadway in Sonoma, California. Founded by Grand Master D.K. Shin in 1961, our school follows the tenets of Taekwondo including Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Our head instructor, Master Robert Morey, is a 7th Degree Black Belt and continues the legacy of excellence in martial arts education. At our school, students of all ages and levels are welcome to train in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kumdo. We also offer traditional Olympic-style Taekwondo training recognized by the World Taekwondo Federation. Join us in a respectful and welcoming environment where you can challenge yourself physically and mentally while discovering your true potential.
