Resource center aid in Costa Mesa, California

The Mental Health Association, located at 3540 Howard Way in Costa Mesa, California, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Orange County residents impacted by mental illness. Through direct services, advocacy, education, and information dissemination, the MHA provides support for those in need. If you or someone you know requires mental health services, help is available. The MHA relies on community volunteers to assist with programs and services, making a positive impact on those in recovery. Donations and in-kind support are also welcomed to help further the mission of the MHA. One success story involves Patty, a woman who was living with untreated mental illness on the streets for many years. With the help of MHA outreach worker Juan Lopez, Patty was able to access the support and resources she needed to begin her journey to recovery. Now, Patty volunteers at the MHA's Multi-Service Center, giving back to others who are on their own path to wellness.
