This 300 acre park offers a wide range of recreational activities such as hiking, surfing, fishing, beachcombing, picnicking, and birdwatching. Visitors can also enjoy off-highway vehicle (OHV) use in designated areas. It is important to respect the rights of other visitors and be aware of OHV riding areas when exploring the park. There are no seasonal restrictions or fees for recreation use at Samoa Dunes. Facilities include an unloading ramp, restroom, tables, cooking grills, and a scenic overlook. Riders have access to 140 acres of open terrain with trails, a one-way track, a 4x4 rock crawling course, and the beach strand. The Eureka Dunes area, extending about 1 mile north of the park, is also open to OHV use.
