Her impressive educational journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and International Human Rights from the University of California, Davis, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She further advanced her expertise at Duke University, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Her research at Duke focused on enhancing the care and management of patients with eating disorders, including the implementation of screening programs in college health centers.
