Operated by Golden Gate Ferry, the Sausalito Ferry provides weekday, weekend, and select holiday passenger ferry service between Sausalito and the San Francisco Ferry Building. The historic Sausalito Ferry terminal, with a long history dating back to 1868, is located at Humboldt and Anchor Streets in downtown Sausalito. Various transportation options, including bus and car, are available to reach the terminal. Five public parking lots are within walking distance of the terminal, with options for both paid and free short-term parking. Residents of Sausalito can apply for a Resident Parking Passcard for free parking in downtown lots, while commuters can apply for a Daily Parking Card for reduced-rate all-day parking.
