Klub Klondike Bar and Restaurant is a historic establishment located on Main Street in Lakehead, California. Established in 1948, it is the oldest bar and restaurant in the area. The building itself has a rich history, with the property being first sub-divided in 1917 and later developed by the Jones Dredging Company in 1947.
Owned by Kris and Scotty Scott, Klub Klondike originally started as a gas station and evolved into a popular bar and restaurant. The building also housed the first Lakehead post office and library. Rumors suggest that in the early 1950s, there was a brothel upstairs, catering to construction workers and miners. The room still exists in the attic, adding to the intrigue of this historic establishment. With its long-standing history and unique character, Klub Klondike Bar and Restaurant is a must-visit destination in Lakehead.

"I have wanted to stop here for yrs. Sat. night after archery hunting we stopped in. We we sat at bar we're helped promptly. Had a wonderful dinner Surf Turf they happened to have a band good songs just alittle too loud. We danced away stayed till 10:30 band took a break so figured time to head home. We had great food nice patrons, staff and food. And thank you to person whom paid for are dinner that was such a nice surprise. I'm so glad I finally stopped in will return. Only wish it was in my backyard. Great prices as well, even if someone treated us. Keep up the great work"
