“I simply cannot recommend this camp enough. When we first attended in Summer 2021, my 4.5 year old was having some self-regulation issues and acting out at his nursery school (gotta love quarantine kids!). I was very nervous that this would continue at camp. I spent some time with Julie, who is so smart and so great with kids. We coordinated closely and I sent her a note explaining how best to work with my son. She always made herself available and is extremely knowledgable (I believe she has a background in early education). She would text me updates as needed and would personally help my son to calm down if needed. To this day, he still talks about his friend, Teacher Julie, and how much she helped him. The outcome was amazing. Not only was my little one well taken care of, it also helped turnaround his overall school experience. On top of all of that, the curriculum is well done, meant to keep kids engaged and takes into account their need for movement with daily trips to the nearby playground. My son always came home with cool facts and projects that he was super excited to show off. I always felt safe with their COVID protocols and I rarely had any trouble with parking during drop-off and pick-up. We will be forever grateful to STEMful for providing both a fun summer activity as well as a turning point for us with our kiddo's education. We are looking forward to attending again this summer!”

“Our daughter has been in Miss Mirna’s class since last year. She absolutely LOVES it. When we get to school she always has a big smile on her face and doesn’t even say goodbye to me as she walks in. Ms Vasi and all of the teachers are super communicative. They tel us what’s going on at school and collaborate with us on things like moving past baby bottles and pacifiers. We’re really happy with Montessori SF and would (and have!) recommend to family and friends.”

“ATI has been a godsend for our family. Our son needed a break from the academic pressures of boarding school but still wanted a rigorous learning experience. The choose-your-own-adventure method of teaching, learning, and achieving at ATI provided a pressure-free environment from which our son could go deep in math and chemistry, explore socratic method, and whet his appetite for SATs and AP testing. The 10:00-4:00, Monday-Thursday schedule saved us many a household battle, as it builds in time for teenage sleep and non-academic interests. The staff at ATI are empathic, intellectually engaging, and flexible as all get out. We're not sure how we would've made it through this year without the support of ATI.”

“My 10-year old daughter has done winter break camps at Celsius and Beyond and is looking forward to next summer (as is her younger brother, who finally gets to join the fun). She found the subject matters interesting and the camps intellectually rewarding (my words...she'd say "epic"). She also really enjoyed her counselors and quickly made friends with other campers. I definitely would recommend Celsius and Beyond to other families.”

“Love, passion, talent and care are the words that we would use to describe LePort. Our child has been attending LePort since their opening and they continue to amaze us on an ongoing basis. LePort has become a family now; there is nothing that we would say oh maybe they could do it this way, there couldn't be a better group of people who understands children's development better than these beautiful teachers at LePort. If you are looking for a wonderful environment for your child to be part of, stop looking and call LePort. Once you have the opportunity to speak with Ms. Domingo or Ms. Little, you would know what we are talking about. We love love love LePort and we will be forever grateful to Dr. LePort for creating such a wonderful environment”

“Our daughter has been going to FWM for over a year now (from 2 years old) and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. We originally chose FWM because they accept younger children and our daughter missed the age cutoff for our older child's school (Presidio Knolls School). It soon became obvious that our daughter was having the same, and often better experience than our son had at PKS -- both in terms of language development and one-on-one teacher time. Now, we have no urgent plans to move her over. There are many benefits to FWM compared to other schools that we investigated: 1) you get year round schooling by a team of teachers that truly care about the children, 2) home cooked meals, 3) 100% immersion vs 80% at PKS and others. The teachers and staff were very caring and effective at helping our daughter with initial separation anxiety. Now our daughter looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends every day. We are in regular communication with Binbin (text messages / email) and they send us pictures of the school day. We spend time every evening looking through the pictures with our daughter and asking her about her day. Our daughter loves the nutritious food FWM provides. She is a picky eater at home, but we are told that she is one of the best eaters at school -- who knows :-). Their educational program is solid; it's very similar to what we see at PKS, but they have an even better teacher to student ratio. I know a few families with kids at both schools and they all feel the same. It's wonderful. In terms of language development, neither me nor my partner are Mandarin speakers, but our daughter’s language development has been incredible. It’s so sweet to hear her say words and phrases in Mandarin around the house, and have her tell us “this is what my teachers say.” She also has a lot of fun learning new words with her older brother. Did I mention our daughter loves Binbin and the teachers too? Yep, this is a great school.”

“I have two daughters at Montessori School of Los Altos and we are very happy there. It is a true Montessori school so you need to research that and be sure it is what you want. While the kids have play time outside where they are free to run around, swing, play in the sand, ride tricylces, etc., in the classroom there are rules and behaviors the teachers model and expect the kids to follow. The children are given a lot of independence to select their learning activities, pick up and put away their learning materials, etc. When you observe the classroom, kids are cutting up bananas to serve to other students or sitting in the "library" section reading quietly or painting or working with a teacher on the banking game all at the same time. It's quite lovely. If you are concerned about academic placement, my daughter is about to be 5 (Kindergarten next year) and she is reading basic books and doing basic addition - not sure how that stacks up, honestly. But more important to me, in the last two years, she has become more confident. more capable and has made great friends at school. Extra bonuses: swim lessons in the summer (my daughter fully swims as of last summer), cooking their own meals with the teachers on Tues and Fri, and little extras like a "bug expert" bringing creepy crawlies in for the kids to see as they do a special session on insects. If you are looking for language immersion, it is not that - they do get lessons in Spanish and Mandarin and sing songs in many languages, but if that is your priority, you will need to supplement what they get at this school. Great place - could not be happier.”

“Being in a consultation group with Anna, I find her to be conscientious, thoughtful, and dedicated to her craft as a therapist. She prioritizes continued learning and growth, and is eager to share her bounty of resources and tools with our group. Anna is reflective on how she moves through the world, personally and professionally, and is mindful of how her social identity and location impacts her work. She has particular expertise on burnout prevention and is a well-regarded consultant and speaker on the topic. Glad to have Anna as a referral resource!”

“ABSOLUTE MUST!! I’m 3 games deep with this company. Their escape rooms are so much fun!! My first time was with a group of friends, we filled the entire room (of 8) and played Prison Break. The amount of rooms, puzzles, and teamwork involved was sooo fun and super stimulating for all of us. We took advantage of their 20% off for our next game. Which was… The Heist! My husband and I booked it with my nephew, brother and sister-in-law (first-timers!). We were joined with a family of 3 to fill the room capacity of 8. Everyone was already looking around for clues during the short video haha. The puzzles were just as good and challenging. I will say that this room get harder than Prison Break because there were at times, multiple puzzles to solve but I think it could also be a benefit to have good communication with the group you’re with. Regardless, it was so much fun and the clues are so intricate and at times build off each other. We definitely left wanting to go back… Which we did!! Haha We just completed our 3rd room here bringing another first timer (my Kuya - older brother in Tagalog). Joined again by my younger brother and nephew! This time it was just us 5! We did the Special Ops: Mystery Market. And it was a mystery! lol We were immersed in the Bazaar finding all the clues, figuring out how the puzzles and items fit together. From one room to the next. It was so much fun. It is such a rush to find a clue and figure out how it led us to the next one! Left this one also wanting to come back. So we got our tickets for a future visit to The Escape room with the 20% discount! Okay, shout outs!! Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of our 1st guide. But our second guide, Benjy was cool! Helped us out and I almost felt like they were the room playing with us for The Heist! Haha Julias, our game guide tonight was super nice! It helps to have an enthusiastic guide on your side. And we can’t forget Devin! We met him last week, he is super nice. He welcomed us back tonight when we arrived - overall great energy! He showed us a cool tracker they have that changes every time someone follows them on Instagram. He answered questions about other games, and tonight told us about other ones at the Fisherman’s Wharf site that they don’t have at their location. Great rooms+Great guides=Great time! Book already!”
