"This school is fairly new and have a clean campus. This is a "fundamental school" yet public, meaning, you have to apply far in advance to be accepted. The learning pace is high. My 6 year old first grader is predicted to read on a third grade level at the end of the school year. He have to read three books a week and get tested on them. Now in May he is reading books that are 125 pages long. I believe it take more parent involvement to succeed here since there is a lot of homework. I don't know how good they are with kids that need more assistance, but I hope they are good for them too."
