The Child Development Center (CDC) is a state-of-the-art facility located at 483 North Aviation Boulevard in El Segundo, California. Established in November 2004, the CDC provides full-day childcare services to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years from military and DoD civilian families. The program is certified annually by the Department of Defense and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, ensuring a high quality, developmentally appropriate and nurturing environment for children. The CDC offers a safe and enriching environment for children at an affordable price, with fees based on total family income. Hourly care reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the center in the morning. The institution participates in the USDA Food Program, offering nutritious meals and snacks at no additional cost.
