They have a variety of homes and they are all well taken care of. If you apply, ask for Adi, and she will definitely help you!!"

"No communication with the tenant from the maintenance department. Ascend became our property manager for the home we rent, in July of 2023. Our fence fell down during a storm in November, this was the third time the fence had fallen and the previous property manager was never able to get the homeowner to replace the fence. I contacted Ascend via the tenant portal to report the issue and they had a contractor come out within a couple of days to check out the damage and overall condition of the fence. He reported back to Ascend, that same night, that the fence needed to be replaced. My maintenance request on the portal had a note placed on it that they had emailed the owner regarding the issue. My fence was replaced 2 months later, I never heard back from the maintenance department. I called 2 weeks after the initial visit from the contractor to ask about the status of the request, I was told they had dispatched someone to look at the fence and they gave me the name and ph# of the same man that had come out originally. I called him and he said he was waiting for Ascend to give him the approval to do the repairs. I called Ascend and relayed that information to them, they said they would email the maintenance department and have them contact me, they didn't contact me. I called again two weeks later, I was able to leave a voicemail for the maintenance department, I did not receive a call back. I waited again, this was around the holidays, I knew people were busy and I was being patient with the process, I was able to leave another voicemail for the maintenance department, I did not receive a call back. I called again in the middle of January, I spoke to the receptionist again, she was very helpful when I explained all of my issues and she said she was emailing my concerns about the repairs and not being contacted directly to the person in charge of maintenance and they would get back to me. I was not contacted by the maintenance department, EVER. About a week later the same man that came and looked at the fence called me and said he had received approval for the repairs. He showed up the next day and got the job done quickly, he was great to talk to and work with, no issues with the person doing the actual work. I received a request from Ascend to leave a review and in that request was a note, saying if I wasn't satisfied to call them directly so they could address my concerns. I don't believe they would respond to me calling to complain, they had 2 months to contact me before this became a complaint and never did. I hope they are able to do better with future issues."

"This company merged with Synergy and since then I’ve had a terrible experience. Aside from the maintenance worker who was professional and courteous. The office manager takes adverse actions based on assumptions and the owner has treated my family as if we are hoodlums when we reached out to attempt to amicably resolve our issues. Very disappointed to say the least and the only reason I gave them a one star is due to the maintenance guy. Edit: As you can see below, the owner is quick to respond with misleading information. I can assure that I pay my rent on time. I am also not evicted as his or her comment below suggests. They just believe I should be. Mr. Boone suggested I speak with an attorney about the issues and I advised him I had. He then threatened to send my documents to his attorney and I encouraged him to do so, however, he turned around and changed his mind and said he would instead provide me a 3-day notice. I advised him I was prepared to defend myself. He used intimidation and bullying instead of professionalism. His interpretation of events are unwarranted and I will update this post in the near future after my nightmare with this company is over. I am not one to speak poorly about businesses but if I can help another family to avoid these issues this review was worth it. Please look up YELP reviews of this company. I did some digging and it appears Ascend was giving out free event tickets in exchange for reviews."

"I have been renting from Acend for going on 2 years now and my oven went out right before thanksgiving and the staff were on it and got me an oven in time for thanksgiving. Great communication and staff with handling this matter. Jennifer was great with her communication with emails and Brian was such a nice man made us feel real comfortable when he was inside our home. Great place to rent from."
