"I would like to give thanks and little bit of praise to Pico Rivera's Station 25 Fire Department and Rescue team. A couple of weeks ago, I called 911 for my mom and dispatch had a team at our house within 3 minutes. Those of you that know us, realize that we are just a few blocks from the station, but regardless, they were prompt, very professional, and just amazing to watch as a team. Fast forward a couple of weeks now, they actually took time out of their busy day to stop by and check on my mom. Now, in the climate we live in today, I want everyone to know the impact this has made on our lives. I lost my dad on Thanksgiving this past November, then a cousin, and then my uncle on Christmas Eve. Needless to say, our family is a wreck. The fire department team also knew my dad, since we had called 911 several times over the last decade, before my dad was placed in a home. Our Pico Rivera station #25 not only does a fine, unparalleled job in saving lives and caring for people, but they lay their hearts out in this community and might not know just how much we appreciate them for all that they do, above and beyond their daily heroics. We have an AMAZING family of first responders in Pico Rivera and I hope they continue to shine for everyone in our city. Station 25, Thank you so SO much for EVERYTHING you've done and continue to do. We notice and we appreciate you every single day!!"
