This park offers a variety of amenities including designated picnic sites where bouncers are allowed with a permit. Starting from May 1, 2014, the park district began offering permits for bouncers at select sites within the park. To obtain a permit, interested parties must complete an application, provide proof of bounce vendor liability insurance, submit a certificate of insurance, and pay a fee of $40.00.

The Castro Valley Community Center, located at 18988 Lake Chabot Road in Castro Valley, California, is operated and maintained by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance, and permits will only be issued to adults 18 years of age or older. Funerals and memorials may be an exception to this rule.
