β OpenFounders Park, located at 1 Trump National Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, is a beautiful 5.5-acre park that was officially accepted by the city in 2006. Named in honor of the city's founders, this park offers stunning ocean views, picnic tables, a gazebo, restrooms, coastal access, and walking and biking trails. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. The park is available for small stand-up ceremonies with a maximum of 15 people, including the wedding party, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The cost for renting the park is $475, with an additional $85 for insurance and a refundable security deposit of $175, totaling $735. The security deposit will be returned within 4-6 weeks after the event if all conditions and rules are met. Minimal floral decorations are allowed with approval.

Point Vicente Interpretive Center
β ClosedLocated at 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, the Point Vicente Interpretive Center is a must-visit museum and tourist attraction. Established in 1984, the center aims to showcase and interpret the unique features and history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. With a special emphasis on the Pacific gray whale, the center's exhibits provide insights into the natural and cultural history of the area. Visitors can also enjoy stunning views of the annual migration of the gray whales from December through April. The Interpretive Center, which was newly expanded in 2006, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The adjacent Lower Point Vicente Park, part of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, offers recreational opportunities for the public to enjoy from dawn to dusk. The park is also available for events such as weddings and receptions, with a picturesque ocean backdrop. For those interested in volunteering, Los Serenos de Point Vicente is the docent volunteer organization that offers training for leading tours and hikes in the area.
