The park now features an outdoor classroom, disc golf course, seating areas, barbecue areas, benches, bike riding areas, a motorless sailplane area, and multiple trails for biking, hiking, and horseback riding.

The park features a variety of amenities including picnic areas, horseshoe pits, a restroom, a full park walking/jogging path, and both active and passive turf areas. In 2002, the park was expanded to include a multi-use hard court with a basketball court and the first netball court in Thousand Oaks. A playground renovation was completed in January 2019, adding additional play structures for children ages 2-5. Visitors to Oakbrook Neighborhood Park can enjoy the lush greenery and peaceful surroundings while taking advantage of the various activities available.
