Outreach initiatives for youth in Orangevale, California

Orangevale Recreation & Park District is a community-focused institution located at 6826 Hazel Avenue in Orangevale, California. As a park district, we are dedicated to promoting a healthier and happier Orangevale through various recreational activities and events. One of our initiatives includes a volunteer effort to improve our urban waterways, and we invite you to join us in this clean-up at Orangevale Community Park. Additionally, we host regular events where shoppers can find a variety of items from over 30 vendors, including handmade crafts, unique gifts, jewelry, and more. Sellers are also welcome to participate and turn their unwanted items into cash.

We host various programs such as First Day, Game Day, and Graduation Day to provide underprivileged children with the resources they need for academic and athletic success. At AboutKidz, we believe in giving a hand-up, not a hand-out. We strive to create events that not only benefit the children, but the entire family as well. Our volunteers personally connect with each family member to ensure they feel welcomed and cared for.
