The Urban Toddler is a unique outdoor art, music, and yoga program located in the heart of North Park, San Diego. Our facility includes a mini farm with therapy dog Osito, free roam bunnies, Miss Owl the cat, and a flock of chickens. Our curriculum focuses on promoting children's discovery through a mixture of art and nature, enhancing their motor skills and learning opportunities. We have a staff of 2 credentialed teachers with a maximum of 12 children, providing a personalized and enriching experience. Our owner and founder, Julie, was inspired to create the program after her son's journey with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emphasizing the importance of acceptance and support for special education services. We offer a flexible enrollment program with organic farm-to-table lunches included, craft materials, and a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
