Welcome to Group Campsite #2, your perfect destination for a memorable camping experience in the heart of San Clemente, California! Nestled within a picturesque park setting, our campground offers a unique blend of natural beauty and essential amenities, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings, family outings, or a peaceful retreat.

Our campground features six spacious group campsites, each accommodating up to 100 people and 20 vehicles. Each site is equipped with shade ramadas, picnic tables, and a kitchen area with counters, a sink, and a barbeque grill. Please note that there are no electrical hookups available, ensuring a true outdoor experience.

We warmly welcome you and your pets to enjoy the serene environment of our park. For detailed guidelines on camping rules, safety, and pet safety, please refer to our website. To help you plan your stay, our Group Campground Map provides individual campsite numbers, and pictures of each site are available online. This allows you to choose your preferred site with ease.

Reservations are now more convenient than ever, with online booking available through Reserve California. You can make your reservations up to six months in advance, ensuring you secure your spot for your desired dates. For assistance, you can also call our reservation center at 1-800-444-7275 (TDD: 1-800-274-7275). Please remember that reservations must be made at least seven days in advance. While walk-in bookings may be available for unreserved sites, we recommend booking ahead to guarantee your spot.

Our park is committed to maintaining a clean and healthy environment. As such, the group reservation holder is responsible for the final clean-up of the property. This includes removing all trash, cigarette butts, and other debris. To ensure the campsite remains in pristine condition, a walkthrough with state personnel is required at both check-in and check-out.

For those planning to enjoy water activities, please be aware of the boat launch fees applicable for each day your watercraft is in the park. However, sailboats, kayaks, and canoes that do not use the boat launch are exempt from these fees.

We recommend that groups arrive at the check-in hour for a smooth entry into the park. Please note that the park may close to vehicle traffic when at capacity, so early arrival is advised. Check-in time is at 2:00 pm, and check-out is at 12:00 pm on your departure day.
