Milvia/Addison Windows - Kala Art Institute is located at 2100 Milvia Street in Berkeley, California. The institution is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a live auction and short program on Saturday, April 27 from 6-9pm. Patrons can purchase a membership for $300 and receive two tickets to the auction closing and anniversary party, featuring food, drinks, music, live and silent auctions, and a program honoring David Huffman, Emily Payne, and Rupy C. Tut. The Kala Gallery is a spacious 2,200 square foot exhibition space that showcases approximately six exhibitions each year in various media by emerging and recognized artists. The gallery features new works by Kala Fellowship artists and Artists-in-Residence working in print, digital media, video, installation, photography, and book arts. Additionally, themed exhibitions are curated throughout the year.
