"My favorite place to sit and observe the 360 view of the city. I am from the East Coast, but every chance I get when i am in SF, I always try to get up there on a bike. Great place to jog."
"Twin Peaks in San Francisco is like the city's ultimate lookout spot. It's these two hills that give you the most insane views of the whole Bay Area. Highly recommended!"
"gorgeous wolf ravens, views and protected wildlife. From the peaks, you can see every bridge and landmark, as well as the surrounding water. Very windy and sunny so get ready with spf and lip balm, even on hot days of the year id bring a windbreaker of some kind. Busy on holidays and such, so if you come then it will be full of families. Be careful driving up either side if you’re new to it, because its dangerous and there are always young people dui, brave bikers and skaters, and runners (though I do not understand running here even if it’s gorgeous because it’s dangerous, you have to weave in and out of roads, one wrong step would send you tumbling over a hill/cliffside, and there are wooden and steel barriers everywhere you’d have to jump over so keep that in mind if you’re working out here. As far as I know, no restrooms anymore, no picnic areas and only a bench or two. Certainly not wheelchair accessible to the peaks but one entrance side is paved to a high spot, with views and photo ops, just quite steep."
"Beautiful views of the city! Even the hardest trails are pretty moderate. I can’t wait to come back on a sunny day or around sunset! The hike from Portola Drive to the top of both peaks & back takes about an hour. There’s lots of parking in nearby neighborhoods."
"Twin Peaks in San Francisco is a destination that never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times I visit. My recent trip marked my third visit, and each time, Twin Peaks offers a different but equally mesmerizing view of the city. My first visit was on a foggy day, where the tops of buildings peeked through the mist, creating a surreal and picturesque landscape. Despite the fog, the beauty of San Francisco's skyline was undeniable, with the building tops adding a touch of mystery to the scene. The second time, I arrived during sunset, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed. The way the setting sun painted the sky and bathed the city in a warm, golden hue was nothing short of magical. It's an experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking a moment of sheer beauty. On this latest visit, although it was a bit windy, the experience was still fantastic. Walking around Twin Peaks with my family, we enjoyed panoramic views of the entire city. It was a special moment, pointing out landmarks, our hotel, favorite restaurants, and even the apartment where I used to live. This personal connection to the sights below added a unique and memorable aspect to the visit. Twin Peaks is an ideal spot for a picnic on a sunny, warm day. The scenic beauty, coupled with the peaceful atmosphere, makes it a perfect place to relax and soak in the views of San Francisco. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, Twin Peaks offers a breathtaking perspective of the city that is both inspiring and tranquil."
