Owned by Jeri Fife-Castillo and David Castillo, our facility offers top-notch care for your beloved pets. Jeri has over 25 years of experience in the kennel business and is a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician. Our boarding rates are all-inclusive, covering food, medications, and plenty of exercise time in our spacious yards. We have specific drop-off and pick-up hours throughout the week, ensuring your pets are well-cared for during their stay. We have a strict vaccination policy to ensure the health and safety of all animals in our care.

Sunshine Swim & Fitness Center, located at 9360 Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove, California, is a premier institution celebrating 10 years of exceptional service. Our dynamic swim programs cater to all ages and abilities, providing a comfortable, fun, and positive learning environment where students can gain strength, confidence, and a love for the water. In addition to our swim programs, we also offer a safe and fun camp experience for children in K-6th grade. Elk Grove Kids Camp at Sunshine Swim Center is open year-round, perfect for school breaks, off-track periods, and summer camp.

Welcome to Headwaters Reserve Salmon Creek Trail, a breathtaking natural sanctuary located in Fortuna, California. Spanning 7,472 acres, this unique park is a haven for nature enthusiasts, history buffs, and adventure seekers alike. Established in 1999, Headwaters Forest Reserve protects the last unprotected, intact old-growth redwood forest ecosystem, home to several threatened species such as the coho salmon, northern spotted owl, and marbled murrelet. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management in consultation with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Reserve offers a variety of trails for visitors to explore. The Elk River Trail, open year-round, is a popular destination for hiking, bicycling, dog walking, and wildlife viewing. Along this five-mile trail, interpretive signs highlight the historic value of the once-busy mill town of Falk and the grassroots activism that led to the Reserve's creation. The Headwaters Education Center, located 0.5 miles from the Elk River Trailhead, offers insights into the Reserve's natural and cultural history.
