Native species conservation in Redondo Beach, California

The Esplanade Bluff Garden in Redondo Beach, California is a beautiful park located on a small piece of property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Originally featuring drought-tolerant landscaping, the garden has now been transformed into a hybrid native garden with a focus on pollinator-friendly plant species. Thanks to the South Bay Parkland Conservancy and the County of Los Angeles, this garden now serves as a habitat for California native species, including the El Segundo Blue Butterfly.
