Steaven K. Jones Supportive Community is a unique institution located at 820 West Colden Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Our model focuses on developing Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) communities quickly and cost-effectively. Our flagship development at 820 West Colden Avenue opened in November 2018, providing housing for 32 homeless individuals and one resident manager. Each tenant has their own private bedroom and shares common areas such as a kitchen, bathroom, and living/dining area. The building features high ceilings, quality finishes, and modern amenities such as heating and air conditioning. Our community also includes a community room, laundry facilities, outdoor spaces, and a vegetable garden. The development has been master leased to People Co, LLC, a subsidiary of The People Concern, a non-profit organization that provides essential services to homeless individuals and other vulnerable populations. Tenants pay rent based on their income, with subsidies available for those who qualify. The People Concern provides wraparound services to help clients maintain stable housing, including case management, medical care, mental health support, and substance abuse services.
